Vanessa Newton, DMD
Dr. Newton was born and raised in the beautiful Berkshire hills of Massachusetts.
She has been living in the Boston area since she started dental school at Tufts University, graduating in 2004. Prior to Tufts she attended Mount Holyoke College, graduating in 2000 with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Art History. Dr. Newton did a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY, which is part of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, from 2004-2005 and was thrilled to come home to Boston. Her journey in private practice started in a prominent multi specialty practice in downtown Boston. She was with that practice for 9 years, until 2014. During that time she was also a faculty member at Tufts University. She then was the Dental Director of a practice in Wellesley for 5 years. She is very excited about finding her professional home in Marlborough. Dr. Newton is very passionate about dentistry. She sincerely enjoys being able to help her patients achieve their best health, and making them a part of the team. She enjoys getting to know her patients and providing them with a fantastic dental experience. She truly believes in providing comprehensive dental care, which is evaluating and treating the mouth as a whole. It’s very important to her that the patient understands what happening in their mouth, and knows the options available to help them reach their goals for health. She attends many cutting edge continuing education courses in order to stay current with new techniques, technologies and materials so that she can continue to provide the best possible care to her patients.
Dr. Newton enjoys spending time with her husband, Fernando, and her 2 dogs. She is a novice sewist and pianist, and enjoyed actively participating in Choral music all through her education. She loves to travel, has family in Germany and Colombia, and enjoys speaking Spanish.
